EmStat4M (LR and HR)

The EmStat4M LR and HR are potentiostat modules (small PCBs). These modules are the basis of all our housed EmStat4 instruments (EmStat4R, EmStat4S, EmStat4X, EmStat4T). Therefore all main documentation about the EmStat4M modules is also applicable to the housed EmStat4 instruments. Differences between the devices are explicitly mentioned where relevant.

The modules measure 62 x 40 mm and function as Potentiostat, Galvanostat, and optional Frequency Response Analyser (FRA) for Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). Their footprints are small while maintaining standard 2.54 mm (100 mil) connections for ease of integration into (prototype) systems. They can be powered and communicate directly via their USB-C port, or they can be mounted on a carrier PCB using pin headers for communication, power and cell connections. A high-end LEMO plug for using standard shielded sensor cables is standard available on the module.

The EmStat4M Low Range version is ideal for applications that require a low current range down to 1 nA, whereas the High Range version is designed for applications that require a maximum current of up to 200 mA or higher potentials.
