EmStat Pico Module

The EmStat Pico is a miniaturized OEM potentiostat module designed for integration into products requiring electrochemical measurement functionality. The system has two potentiostat circuits which can be used simultaneously in Low Speed mode (up to 100 Hz) and a High Speed mode (up to 200 kHz) which can be applied to each channel alternately. The system features power saving modes for use in battery operated systems. Its footprint is small while maintaining standard 2.54 mm (100 mil) connections along with castellations for ease of integration into prototype systems.

Example applications

  • Gas detection

  • Food quality

  • Environmental sensing (air, water, soil)

  • Blood glucose meters

  • Life sciences and bio-sensing analysis

  • Bio-impedance measurements

  • General amperometry, voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy functions

  • Wearables

The EmStat Pico can be bought as part of a development board or as a separate module. The development board is setup with peripherals, such a bluetooth module and a real-time-clock, this board also has all the pins of the module broken out into headers, a LEMO connector for cell connections and a USB to serial chip so it can directly interface with your computer. The standalone EmStat Pico module is recommended to use if you want to integrate te module in a setup of your choice and you already have some experience tinkering with microcontrollers and electronics since some soldering and programming is needed.
